From the ages of 7 to 17, hockey was my purpose. I lived for the euphoria of stepping on the ice. Backup sticks would turn into practice sticks, which I'd wear down on the gravel in my driveway until they were no longer usable. I could name just about every player in the NHL off the top of my head at any given time. The game shaped my entire personality. I was obsessed.

 

Before games, I’d visualize something. Whether it was replaying a goal in my mind or picturing myself performing in the game coming up, it was my way of getting in the zone. Almost like a personal highlight reel stored in my brain. 

 

I didn’t have much to experience besides the memories themselves. Sure, a few clips my parents caught on their phone or a Livebarn screen recording, but that was it. 

 

That was until my senior year of highschool. A good friend of mine had purchased a camera, and decided to mess around with it at one of my games. I didn’t know it yet, but this clip would change my life (and hopefully a whole generation of hockey player’s lives) forever. 

 

It became clear to me this was something I was missing. It became clear to me I would have done anything to be able to go back in time, and capture all of my goals this way. 

 

I built this business for me, and for all of the hockey players like me. Unfortunately, my time as a hockey player is done - but yours isn’t. 

 

That’s why I'm going to do everything in my power to make high quality hockey coverage accessible. Whether you're using our services for recruiting, to build a brand, or just to capture memories, at the end of the day hockey is just a chapter in our lives. 

 

But that chapter deserves to be remembered. 

 

This isn’t just about hockey videos. It’s about solving a problem I've personally experienced, and honoring the game that made me who I am.
